Church camp 2025
Welcome to Church Camp!
We are going to church camp on May 23-25, 2025 at Gulbrannagården in Sweden.
We look forward to 2 days with plenty of time for community. The program offers worship services, prayer and teaching, great food, seminars, hygge, program for children and teenagers, and fun activities in the beautiful Swedish nature with walking distance to the sea.
We live in cabins or in rooms with bunk beds, and in addition, it is possible to bring your own caravan or tent, as Gullbrannagården also has a campsite. If you are more into a room at a hotel, then we have made an advantageous agreement only 10 minutes drive from the camp.
Arrival and check-in from 15:00 on Friday 23 May 2025. From 17:30-19:30 the barbecue is lit – and hot dogs are served. More practical information such as packing list and program is sent by mail up to the start of the camp.

Join our yearly church camp
Discount for children, teenagers and young people
If you want to save money on registration for a child aged 4–11 or a teenager/young person aged 12–30, read more here:
The price for children, teenagers, and young people is cheaper if your child/children are members of the church’s children’s, teenage, and youth association. For children aged 4–11, membership is through the children’s church Katsj, and for teenagers/young people aged 12–30, membership is through TRIBE.
To become a member and receive a discounted price for the camp, you must join Katsj or TRIBE through this link.
Membership costs 100 DKK annually and immediately triggers a discount on the camp price. It also provides funds for our children’s, teenage, and youth associations, which are used to run programs for children, teenagers, and young people throughout the year. When filling out the link with your contact information, under ‘City Name’ select ‘Copenhagen’, and under ‘Local Association’ select Katsj (4–11 years) or Tribe (12–30 years).
YOUNG PEOPLE / STUDENTS AGED 17–25
There is a special arrangement for young people aged 17–25 or students under 30 – IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF TRIBE. The price includes accommodation on mattresses in a dormitory (separated by gender), meals, and round-trip transportation from the church to the camp.
Support for Financially Struggling Individuals/Families
You have the opportunity to support the camp financially, allowing more people to participate in the church camp. You can donate 100 DKK or more.
Wildcard
You can apply for financial aid for the camp, but it is not guaranteed, as we have a limited number of available spots. The deadline for applications is April 1st or as long as spots are available. You will receive a response within a week of your request. However, there is a minimum self-payment requirement of 575 DKK for adults, 450 DKK for teenagers, and 250 DKK for children, which must be paid at the time of registration.
You need to send an email to kirkelejr@arkcph.dk with your name, phone number, email, number of people and their ages, and a description of why you are applying for financial aid for the camp. This support is reserved for financially struggling single parents and individuals/families receiving public benefits.
Accommodation
As mentioned, accommodation will be in bunk beds. Unfortunately, there are no single rooms available at the camp itself, but you can book a single room at the hotel instead. You will share a room with your spouse and/or children, which will be arranged based on your registration. It is not possible to register multiple households with the expectation of staying together — either in the same building or house. If an extended family consisting of multiple households wishes to stay in the same house, we suggest booking an Airbnb independently.
If you are attending the camp alone, you will be accommodated with up to six others of the same gender and, as far as possible, within the same age group.
Some rooms have a private toilet or a toilet and shower, while others have shared toilets and/or showers in the hallway or a nearby building. With 400–600 people attending the camp, assigning beds for everyone is a complex puzzle. Therefore, we cannot confirm where you will stay or whether you will have a private bathroom until arrival on May 23, 2025, as there may be cancellations and changes right up until the camp begins. Room assignments will not be published in advance.
If you want to be guaranteed a private bathroom or want to stay in a single room, we recommend booking a hotel room or an Airbnb.
Prices – Special Day Passes and Hotel
All prices include accommodation and meals except for the Saturday day pass, which only includes meals for that day.
A day pass is for those who wish to attend the camp on Saturday, May 24 from morning to evening.
If you choose accommodation at a hotel via the registration below, meals at Gullbrannagården are included in the price. Breakfast will be enjoyed at the hotel, but other meals are taken at Gullbrannagården.
